?? CBS invites liability???
Aug 14 2007, 3:19 PM EDT
I've watched & been a part of every BB in America & loved them all. However, this BB8 has hit a note that goes beyond what's acceptable. Why didn't BB8 do something to call out Evil Dick when he went on his rampages? Though verbal, he has caused lasting emotional damage to almost every woman in that house though intimidation, manipulation and genuine fear of physical abuse. Are you (CBS) waiting for the "Physical harm" to happen before you do something:? 137  out of 215 found this valuable. Do you?

I beginning to feel that some of you have never really worked or lived in a real world environment, probably more over a corporate cushion job that has shielded some from the real reality of real life, feeding some peaches and cream idea about a perceived utopian peace loving Kum Ba Yah circle that exists throughout America -sound about right?

Evel's calling it as it is, Jameka is a Christian hypocrite, like the 100,000's of 1,000's out there. Amber doesn't even know how old her child is or what grade her child is going into as she says good luck to her five year old going into third grade; kid must have cried his way up in grades. Evel would be the first to say he isn't a good father, but to portray yourself as a caring mother not even knowing what grade your five year old is going into, kind of speaks volumes. And Jen, is a shallow, self absorbed twit, nothing can be denied there.

There's a saying, “If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen." This is a game, and Evel is playing his game the best way he knows how, through intimidation and a conversational nature, and welcome to the real world, not some sugar coated idea, as this is the way this Christian ran country operates, hypocrites. I haven't seen Dick place a hand on one contestant, the tea incident is the closest I've seen him come, and that isn't even close to physical abuse, as this is usually the result of most conversations started in a bar from a woman chasing predator.

Let's start by stripping all emotion from the show, starting with the weeping Amber, as this is causing the other contestants to feel sorry for her. Can't have that disadvantage of emotion playing in Amber's favor. And let's continue by insuring Jameka can't verbally pray or praise her Lord as this religious ranting that goes against other contestants beliefs. A fascist show is what you want? Grow up, or change the channel.

First of all you can't strip all emotion from the show. That is what makes the show what it is. That is a part of our personalities and therefore makes BB what it is. You seem to condem so much. Are you related to Dick? By the way, EVIL (not EVEL) goes beyond what is acceptable even in the outside world. Emotional damage is far worse than any physical damage. I would NEVER stand for someone disrespecting me the way he disrespects most all of the women in the house. Respect is self. Have you never heard that? It means if you can't or don't respect yourself you can't or won't respect anyone else. THAT is E.D.'s problem in a nutshell. As far as Jamika and her Christianity - God help those that stand in Judgement of her - including you. From your comment, you have no idea what a hypocrite is, let alone what a Christian is. Christians are not perfect - but they are forgiven. I suppose you have met and personally know these " 100,000's and 1,000's of Christian hypocrits? Amber has problems yes, but at least she has a heart. Jen we agree on. I seriously feel sorrow that anyone would live in an atmosphere like you so describe on purpose. You need to experience the other side of life. There are good people in this world that have self respect and respect for others.

First of all, it is Evel Dick, go look at the boards. There’s no arguing this point.

Secondly... it is a game... if you don't get that, I would like to play some Texas Hold'em with you and/or sell you a bridge. IF YOU RESPECT YOURSELF, THEN ANYTHING ANYONE SAYS TO YOU WOULDN'T AND SHOULDN'T EFFECT YOU -PERIOD-, never mind the raving ranting of some lunatic who is trying to get into your head while you’re battling for the top prize of BB8, as if this is some emotional scar to bare. Please, give me that anytime.

Third, you probably missed my post where I did say... guess what... "I'm a born again Christian"... and I would never... never... pray for Jesus "To Take My Cross" because I failed at a game... or pray for myself period. “I landed on Go To Jail!” “Jesus, take my cross, oh, Lord, bare my cross for me… I have to go to jail in a Monopoly game!” Ah… a true to the heart Christian for sure, thinking about himself first and foremost.

If your looking for the abundant of Christians who are hypocrites, start with the ones who turn the key to their SUV-8 banger-4x4-gas guzzling-hogs or any other combustion engine vehicle, while the oil that it takes to push that machine and the pollutants that are spewed by it reek death and destruction across the world plain - you want the 100,000's of 1000's of Christian hypocrites, go look out your window, because they know this to be true, and yet they’ll continue to kill in the name of luxury and ease. (...and before you get some brain fart - I ride a bicycle 20 miles a day and am 37...and I have a drivers license if only to have my “papers” in order when the men from this police state demand them from me.)

...and this atmosphere I'm absorbed in is nothing more than shoveling future-crap-in-a-porcelain-bowl down the gapping traps of fat avarice Americans daily... I wipe your faces, clean your crap off the stole and scrape your abundant of left overs down the waste barrel... while I would never wish to afford this want of a surrogate mother mentality, I look at the a-hole end of America daily...and I can assure you… there are good people, far, and farther, few between.

How do you get to your town of Sugarcoated, anyway?

This is my first season watching Big Brother and I am really enjoying it but I do agree that Dick went beyond the call of the game. He played very unfair and this was way out of line. I know its a game but to hit people where it hurts was not strategy, it was hard to watch. I don't believe in playing a game and hitting below the belt to win. 14  out of 25 found this valuable. I can't help but sense your anger and defensive attitude when you correspond. I too am a born again Christian. According to my beliefs and the teachings of Christ in the Bible, I'm not to judge, Therefore I won't. But, I am still a human being and it is in my nature to want to. When you go to Church do you think everyone else is a hypocrite? I'd think or hope not. But likely there are some. One bad apple doesn't spoil the whole bunch! I think (especially since the last few BB8 afterdarks) that Jamicka and Amber are poorly demonstrating what a Christian trys to be. Mainly their language, which even with no one around is F*%# this and F*&% that. You still don't (& likely never will) understand that words (especially to women) are FAR MORE TRAUMATIC and HURTFUL than any physical pain. Dick did cross the line. His behavior was unacceptable, period! 8  out of 15 found this valuable. Do you?

also....OGZN - I commend you for standing up and trying to do your part in this world by riding your bike to work. I agree about the use of these huge SUV's and luxury items in a time when we as a nation UNDER GOD, are at war, losing soldiers every day in the name of war or should we say in the name of oil?! None the less, they are following orders - I support the troops not the war. Sugarcoated? no, Reality, yes. Happiness is a choice. What you want out of life you have to give. But I do live in the South - NC exactly where we are pretty much known for our hospitality. However, I was born/raised in S. FLorida. 4  out of 9 found this valuable. Do you?

I suppose I got myself into this… if nothing more than the want of a good argument…or conversation.

I guess I can construe your replies with notations that there is a two-faced mentality when it comes to what some will consider unacceptable in the prospects of winning, getting ahead, …succeeding. We’ll find it easier to condemn… or judge, someone who is using profanity and “hurtful” remarks openly to strangers he’s only known for a little over a month in a game that has a quarter of a million dollars at stake, rather than highlight the whims of an evangelistic Christian who is using the name of God in her quest to claim that quarter of a million dollars. I always will find one, more nerving than the other.

Hitting below the belt to succeed or win is an American past time. Elections are won this way. I would further deduce that some have never been on a football field or behind a plate in baseball, where the use of intimidation and profanity are nothing more than part of the game. I can also go so far as to say, that in some sports, bad behavior and physical abuse are glorified, as in the case of hockey. This may be why women don’t play with men in most professional sports.

Dick forecasted his strategy of making the house guests hate him to save his daughter from eviction, this is an antic… nothing more than a catcher in baseball whisper something about the batter’s mother or sister before the pitch, or the linebacker on the other side of the ball talking about what future position the quarterback is going to be in when the linebacker catches him. Make no mistake that Evel’s brash use of “mental abuse” is ingenious unlike the genuine use of “God’s Will” in Jameka’s game plan. The forked tongue comes to mind.

And thanks for the props. I expect to die being ran over by a SUV driving Christian, talking on their cell phone about a smoking and drinking woman who just had an abortion.

only If its in God's will and plan for your life. !! We are born into and certainly live in a sinfilled society. What gets me up on my soap box is when non-saved people call out born again believers - saying oh, your going to hell for that one. Thank god we are saved by Grace, not by our doings - God in the form of man, Jesus came to earth to live each day as we did - so he would know what it was to be tempted, cursed at, beaten. make friends, ...everything we as a human people have to endure - then only to be falsely accused and sacrificed on the cross for our sin. We can't get to heaven by works, only by faith & trust in Christ as our redeemer. At that point we change in our soul, but the outside sometimes takes a while to get cleaned up!! The SUV driving (proffessed) Christian talking on her cell phone about a smoking and drinking woman who just had an abortion... has to stand before God one day-alone..to answer for her gossiping & judgemental attitude!

I also have wtch every season of BB and even though Dick has a foul mouth have you been watching the Lare Night shows on Showtime? Jameka and Amber's mouths are not what you would call lady like. They also profess to be such Christians and they have a mouth almost as bad as Dick's. Jameks was calling Dick's mother the "B" word and really capping his mom down, where does she get off talking about ANY BODIES mother or family. Dick only talks about the people in the house not their families. The ladies are not so "LADY LIKE" either. So why not do something about them also? 10  out of 11 found this valuable. Do you?

I totally agree with you. So many people say they are Christians by doing good deeds only, that will NOT get you into heaven. You have to believe that Jesus Christ died for you and for your sins and believe that He is your Lord & Savior. This is how you will get into heaven. 7  out of 9 found this valuable. Do you?

"AMEN!!!"
I believe that CBS has a responsibility to keep things at an even keel, which they have NOT this year. ED (his self-proclaimed name) is the most rude, uncaring, disrespectful, etc, etc person I've ever come across. If CBS allows this kind of ABUSE (that's right, abuse) to continue this will be my last season....a fan since season 1. Would rather watch NOTHING than watch a program of this season's calibre.

That is what I am talking about! ED cannot speak a sentence without at least 2 to 4 F#@$ words in it. This season has been one of the most ... "eye openers" for me than any of the others. Out in the real world, If ED came at me with those words and behavior, I could easily call the police and file a complaint - obviously he'd continue - then I could get a stalking charge or at least a restraining order so that he would not come withiin so many feet of me. His exhibition of intimidating danger would be full and due course for the complaint. And believe me, I'd do it! So, its a good thing its only a game in there and hopefully CBS will keep a close eye on his behavior before anything horrible happens. 2  out of 8 found this valuable. Do you?

Are you nuts? The women in BB8 are all babies - I'd love to go in there & show them how it's done. Women band together & let no man(even lovable Dick) have the last word. Call us he-women if you want but most women are learning how to Dish it out alot better than any man ever could!! 6  out of 6 found this valuable. Do you?

This season is one of the best yet! I love EVEL DICK! He says what everyone else is thinking. I don't think anyone is going to suffer long term emotional abuse LOL.. give me a break!! It's a game and he's playing it the best way he knows how. Look how far it's gotten him. IT'S GAME!! Remember that. The whole world is not sugar and spice and everything nice. People say mean things everyday. These idiots in the house choose to let it bother them. That's their own fault! I honestly wouldn't care what someone said about me if they didn't really matter in my life. Who the hell cares what Dick's personal opinions are about them he has the right to express his feelings and thoughts.

The only difference between Dick and everyone else in the house is (again) Dick says it out loud. All the other little twits and geeks whisper and hide and talk about one another. Remember when they were saying how Dick and his daughter probably practice incest or all the other crap they were talking behind other's backs?? So I don't feel bad for them at all they are equally as guilty.

As far as Amber goes she seems to think America will love her. Pfft I'd say she's probably going to be the most hated player in BB history!! All she did all season why friggin cry and talk about what a good person she is. A good person doesn't do hard core drugs while raising a child! She's a scum!!

Jessica and Eric's showmance made me puke in my mouth. Jessica is a pretty girl why she chose to get close to an Oompa-Loompa is beyond me. The kid is a total dweeb.

Oh well were down to the final four now and it's going just like I had hoped!! Dick has a TON of supporters so I can't see it bothering him that people don't like him. "Dirt off his shoulder"

GO DICK!!!!!!!!!!

Signed, BostonChick4Dick ............... lol ;)
