He of Multiple Personalities???
Apr 23 2008, 7:57 PM EDT Is anyone else out there noticing a change in ADAM??? I think he's done a 180 this last week or so! He seemed to have gone from a caring, honest guy to a lying, backstabbing (GNAT-WANNA-BE) a$$?? (Figures! Cuz I was just starting to root for him these past weeks...!) It seemed to all start about a week ago, when he lied to Ryan about what he whispered/mouthed to Gnat (as she was on the block about to be evicted). I figured that was an "honest" slip...in that he was compelled to be honest w her yet realized it wasn't what he and Ryan agreed upon. Did you notice how he came up w that lie pretty quick and very convincingly too? Myabe TOO quick and maybe TOO convincingly? Hummm? His DR interviews seem to be less caring and more about greedy, deceptive game play...and demonstate that he's apparently ok with lying and backstabbing whoever just to get to the end. (Do the ends justify the means?) Then, I was just SHOCKED last night when he was behaving like a MINI GNAT!! When he twisted his and Sharon's bathroom conversation around to make it look like SHARON came to HIM and said the words that HE said! Maybe GNAT possessed him? Just like what GNAT used to do (minus the evil eyes: except with his exophthalmos (due to Grave's Disease?) that it wouldn't take too much to get his eyes looking evil?!). I will admit that its "nice" to see him step it up a bit and get a little game play and a spine but to have such a drastic/shocking change is almost scary??? (Except now it sounds like he is being a pansy a$$ by throwing the HOH comp so that he's not in the position where he has to be the bad guy and decides who stays/goes.) Except that Sharon saw the looks btn the boys on the DVD while they were in the SH, so she now knows that Ryan was behind/ok with her eviction. That could make things interesting! Especially, if/when the SH guests share this info w Sheila when she joins them. Again, gonna be interesting! (You know that Ryan was counting on Sharon's vote and Adam's planning on Sheila's.) It was funny watching Matt's reaction to GNAT in the SH...I just wish we could've seen his (and the others') INITIAL reaction to her entering such! That would've been classic! Funny how Matt and Josh are getting along famously, now. I guess when you take the game/money out of the equation, people really CAN get along! lol For what its worth, it does seem like GNAT has finally figured out that her and Matt are NOT (and were NOT) a true couple/relationship. (WOO WOO! She got a CLUE!) Also, on a positive note, I really think that the BB experience has made GNAT stronger...she seems a bit more confident in herself, and that is just the first step! Altho I don't like her, I DO hope that she learns from her mistakes/experience and gets some self esteem/ self respect. (Seriously.) BTW, KITTY: We awoke to HAIL yesterday (Tues) a.m...yet it turned into a beautiful/perfect day (70's and sunny by afternoon!). Gotta LOVE the midwest weather! 6 out of 6 found this valuable. Apr 24 2008, 12:01 AM EDT "what is w/ the hail? every rain storm we get hail! just like every 3 days snow now is every 3 days rain & hail. storms again tonite.we are back to really having WEATHER. next will be heat & HUMID. a hairdresser i know moved here from northern ca [perfect weather] she couldn't understand why people in missouri/kansas [we are on the border of both states ] didn't wear make up. i just laughed & said why it won't stay on long W/ the humidity."KITTY...Yeah...I just checked the five-day weather cast for here (Iowa)...rain everyday but MAYBE Sat and CHANCE of SNOW on Monday?????!!!!!????? Not sure if more HAIL is in there (didn't feel like reading: just like looking at the PICS...lol)...Crazy midwest weather! I am sure you're gonna get some of that rain too (seems like we get similar weather)? LUCKY US!! :) You know what they say about midwest weather: If you don't like the weather, just wait 5 minutes! (Ain't that the truth!) I hear ya on the make up thing! That might be a reason I don't wear all that much? Never gave it much thought? I am just SO into the LOW maintenance look! (I am NOT a morning person: I would rather SLEEP than PRIMP!) hehehe :)~ BTW: How are your precious babies/kitties? Do you remember the 3 mo old black kitty (JINX) that I found in my window well back in Oct? Well, he is up to 10 lbs now (if not more)!! He even passed up my girl, FITZ! May 4 2008, 1:09 PM EDT it's taken me awhie to get back here,it must have been all that snow & cold weather that made your babies bulk up,and all the tlc.i'm no longer double digits. i had 2 of my really really favorite babies pass in the same month.one was the one i told you about,the 22lbs orange tabby that i would have shaved in a lion cut.the other was 17,i still have his brother.& he is slowing down a lot.its so amazing how totally attached we are to them.i still have young ones i inherited from my mom. how did you like all the storms this week? our destruction was north of the city,which would make it head in your direction.hope everything is good with you .oh i posted on jury house & ashs miss you some gossip.utube has new videos .i got them off jokers update. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Hard to get over those special little creatures that touch our hearts and bless our lives so much! They truely are such an amazing gift! I still want to call out "JASMINE!" (my B/W tux kitty that I lost Jan 2007) everyday. Still feel that emptiness and miss her...can't believe she's gone! I really hope you are doing ok! I remember you telling me about shaving your orange tabby to look like a LION...infact, every time I look a Max (my long haired tabby), I think of YOU and want to grab some clippers! Of course, now that warmer weather is here (well..ALMOST!), I might try it! hehehe (I will be sure to take a pic if I do!) 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

May 4 2008, 6:11 PM EDT So...you shaved your calico too? When you say they lose some of their vibrant color is that from shaving or NOT from shaving? I, also, have a long haired calico (FITZ). Humm...she would be SOOO pissed at me...lol! She LIVES to groom...whether herself or the boys...definitely a care-giver! On the other hand, Max is kind of lazy and neither he nor I can seem to keep up with his grooming needs so he gets mats/rats often...always FUN cutting those out! I bet he'd really enjoy it once we get our summer heat here (esp'ly since his "beer belly" doesn't help keep him cool in the summer!)! lol You might have to find a pic of one of your 'DO's so that I would have an idea of what to do (something to follow anyways)?? 1 out of 1 found this valuable. May 4 2008, 10:56 PM EDT my calico looked kind of dull i guess cause you can see their skin. i'll get my neice to put my pictures on a disc so i can put them on my profile. something else i need to learn.& yes you see how fat they are,'beer belly' is exactly correct. the lion cut is so cute with the tail shaved x for the tip. are you also getting cold then hot weather also. i even put the a/c on after all those storms. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. May 4 2008, 11:32 PM EDT Yeah...we are getting the "yo-yo" weather too (I am starting to get an idea of what HOT FLASHES must be like!)... Turn the heat on...turn the heat off... put the winter coats away...dig the winter coats back out... put the flannel PJ's away and get out the Tshirt and Boxers...dig those flannel PJ's back out (I know, TMI!)... I am hoping that we are DUN w the cold stuff...looks like it will be 60s & 70s here this week (w some rain)...I can handle THAT! lol I will have to check out those "lion" pics...I really think it would be good for Max...esp'ly w his weight/beer belly in the summer (and that he's not a spring chicken...11+ yrs old). Fitz (caleco) is smaller (10 lbs?) and doesn't seem to mind the warmer weather so much...plus she's too gorgeous to shave.
