My generation knew how to respect others and having sex on national TV would be a death sentence. Racial slurs whether it be color or sex would not be said. I am beyond 50 and eat what I pleas, get up when I feel like it and say what is on my mind. I do keep in mind that younger people are about and stay out of their way a nd say constructive things when asked. I would not tolerate any harm coming to them in my presence but that is just me. Get it...you should just speak for yourself. This forum I am entitled to say my piece you do not have to agree. do you know what a Wrinkle old tail feather is? GrannyMac does she experienced it. It is so nice that you have a melting pot in your family tree. If your business is so important then you should know that being on the internet you can be traced directly back to your front door. So we would pack our meds and get up when we felt like it. Then of course there is the getting on hands and knees to clean up after these children but I am sure we both could burn in the kitchen and cook things everyone would enjoy. Then we could cuse like sailors and be the first ones kicked off. There would be limited bathroom use since I just enjoy long showers and would hide from the camera...oh I forgot I like to sleep without bed clothes so I would have a bed all to myself. Hubby is always cold. Our biggest fight are over the thermostat. I've threatened to break his gnarly fingers if he touches the thermostat. As for the cooking. I'd go for the biscuits and sausage gravy with eggs on top of that. Then there is fried chicken or chicken and dumplings. Good old down home country cooking. Careful with those strokes. Bunnybear. A few years back, we were at a blue grass festival and instead of 5 guys on the stage, I was seeing 10. I went to the doctor when we got home and they said I had mini strokes in the brain stem area, a place you DON'T want to have a stroke. Take care of yourself. That is one thing I would of never dreamed of me doing. In the BB house there is ZERO reason to put yourself in a bad light to win half a million. I would not want to disrespect myself in that way. I have not done it in my life now why would someone do it on tv. Once you put something out in the world it is out there to stay. You never know when it will come back to get you.. I was lucky that I had gotten 2 doses of the vaccine. My grandparents raised me to be "normal". They tought us how to use our minds to come up with games and to be respectful to each other. There were 6 of us grand kids that they watched. I was the oldest. I have gone from a full body brace to just one on my right leg. To me my brain is more important then my body. You can do more with it. You sould like a person who knows about life. I would love a BB special need's ( I guess that is what they will call it) I get ticked when people have a problem with the word handicapped. That is what we are. Physically challenged is ok. What you do with the hand you are dealt is what matters most. You've done well for yourself and that is a reflection on, not only you, but your family that raised you. Life isn't always fair. It is up to us to do something about it. I wouldn't want to make a fool of myself on tv, but I think us baby boomers could educate the youngsters. I don't know who said it but it rings true, "YOUTH IS WASTED ON THE YOUNG". I think Samual Clemons that wrote Tom Sawyer. I'm having a senior moment and cannot remember his other name. My mom was a coal miners daughter and proud of it. I had that song tastefully played at her funeral. Anyway, soup beans, fried potatoes and corn bread were a staple. I never knew what steak tasted like till I left home and did some traveling. We couldn't afford it. The only thing close was round steak, tederized and made ito chicken fried steak smothered in gravy. For our birthdays. we got our favorite meal. Mine was chicken and dumplings. I fix that and all the other stuff. Homemade bread, no machine, is something I taught my granddaughters. I watch these food shows and wonder what that stuff they frou-frou make is any good. I guess it is but I don't think I would have much of a taste fot it. I'm set in my ways. I do go for seafood, as an acquired taste. Post reply 0 out of 1 found this valuable. I'm really tired of the imaturity and back stabbing that has gone on this season and I agree, this has been absolutely the the worst season ever!! Its also been the raunchiest. Sheila may be forty something but she has certainly dropped right to the mental level of the group. In her defense when all you have to relate to for 3 months is a bunch of self serving kids its probably hard not to fall right into it. I don't dislike Nat but I don't quite understand her idea of being Christian in one breath and lap dancing and humping on the boys in the next. Sounds like she bought into Mr. Clinton's definition of what sex is too!! Maybe if we're lucky CBS will offer better next time around, and if not its "viewers discretion"!!! I have experienced a few things in my life. I've learned from my mistakes. I think we would all do well on the show. We can take it to the edge of crazy...but not step over the line. It would be entertaining without boobs, butts, and humping people. As far as Nat praying and the others praying, I read a sign in front of a local church the other day. It read, "THE SECRET TO PRAYER IS TO PRAY IN SECRET". I have no problem with people saying grace in a restaurant. But the type of prayers going on in the BB house is strictly for show. All people are good. It is the chooses they make that is wrong. A lot of the chooses that Nat has made are wrong. She does not see that her, Matty and Sheilas have done anything wrong. She still does not want to see that Matty did do things wrong to other HG. And Sheila is on board with it. I can't see why Sheila keeps talking about Matty. No one other then Nat brings up other HG.
