America's Player

Eric | Big Brother 8 HouseGuest

How he describes himself:

27 years old originally from Yorktown Heights, NY

How he describes his strategy:
To have a charisma that will rally people behind him so when he starts cutting people's throats, they will never see it coming.
Sense of humor is a "major strategy"

Eric's biggest enemy in the House: Amber and Jameka at the moment. And lets not forget America they are always getting him in trouble.

Which former HouseGuest does he remind you of?

  • Will (BB2) - Will had a bigger advantage by playing his own game--not America's Player game for the tv viewer popularity contest.

Love him? Why?

  1. He has beautiful eyes and great teeth.
  2. He is way above average intelligence
    3. He is very creative and can visualize and think outside a bigger box than anyone else in the game.
  3. He is friendly and funny with almost everyone. 5. His insults consist of over-the-top and exaggerated situational comments that are so obviously bizarre that no one could believe they are truly anything other than game and definitely not personal. (granted, there are some seriously thin-skinned game players in this cast and in the fan base.
  1. I love his game talk!

  2. We get him to do whatever we want, and he manipulates it very well.
  3. It's good to finally have another brilliant player to watch since Season 2.
  4. His feelings for Jessica are totally genuine and sweet; this is not a showmance, awwwe gee, but his feelings for her are definitely distracting him from the game.
  5. He is outgoing and will be a lot of fun to watch
  6. He seems to be a nice guy, in general. In a house with people like Joe and Evil Dick, we'll appreciate that!
  7. He doesn't say "like" in every sentence six times like Jen.
  8. He is able to use more than two syllable words on regular basis.
  9. He seems to have a plan for how to play the game (even though he is AP)
  10. LOVE HIS TSHIRTS! (from bustedtees.com)
  11. Funny as hell and very entertaining to watch...a REAL "good guy" (I didn't think those existed anymore :)
  12. He is funny, smart and he knows how to play this game I mean he started ling from day one. Also he will make us laugh with everything we make him do.
  13. He is so funny and will complete America's tasks in a funny and entertaining way
  14. He is having fun with America's tasks and enjoying every minute of it - we need more tasks!
  15. He can talk anybody into anything, and it would be fun watching him learn to close a deal.
  16. Has his nipples pierced....
  17. He has a very attractive and big schlong!
  18. hes hott! i wonder if he would consider dating 9 yrs younger.. or 9 yrs older?
  19. He's trying so hard to give America what they want, even though they are screwing him over with getting him to vote against his group, which makes him seem untrustworthy to the others.
  20. His brother says he has a beautiful singing voice, but Big Brother won't let us hear it.
21. It's wonderful that he has been active in musical theatre.
22. He is the only person I have ever heard admit that he has one of the same ocd "quirks" that I have. . . .the compulsion to create a balance on both sides of the body by movement in pairs.

Hate him? Why?-----No hate from me, but here are some of the hater's comments:

  1. Those creepy eyes - I cant stand to watch!
  2. He trys acting way too 'cool' and it makes him look like a complete dork.
  3. He's doesn't act like himself and if he does, he should stop it.
  4. every other word is "like" wow like he gets on my nerves with that.lol
  5. seems to be trying to hard to be everyones friend.
  6. He seems to like Jen which is not a good thing, especially when America tells him to vote her out whenever she's up...
  7. His language
  8. No poker face whatsoever
  9. That high-pitched voice he has when he's trying to be cute/charming/whatever
  10. Tries to blame other people for his action
  11. Very manipulative
  12. His incest comments about Dick and Dani were to over the top! Shows what a real pig in life he is!
  13. All that comes out his mouth is BLAH BLAH BLAH.

5. Smarter than anyone else.
Strongest Alliances
  1. Jessica
  2. Dick
  3. Daniele
4. The LNC (for awhile)

Biggest Advantages:
  1. He is a fun guy and is fun to be around. As long as he doesn't get dramatic on people, it could help him.
  2. he is a good ice breaker.
  3. He has puppy dog eyes.....very sweet
  4. Funny and cute.

Biggest Disadvantages:
  1. America's Player
  2. Will have to vote per America which definitely put him at a disadvantage.
  3. talks to fast and too much and doesn't know how or when to close a deal.4. Not that great at winning competitions when he should have.
  4. julie chen trying to expose him as a liar with the mustard incident.
  5. The banner planes that flew over the house said "We love Nick - Amber and Eric are liars

Biggest Rival
  1. Amber
  2. Jameka

What challenges would you like to see given to America's player
  1. Confide in a houseguest that he is secretly gay!NOT.
  2. To see if he can get a kiss from every girl within a 48 hr period.NOT.
  3. To see if he can make out with Nick, Joe, or Dustin! NOT.Forget about this - BORING!
  4. try to get dustin and joe back togetherYUCK! Not.
  5. To see the Barbie & Ken dolls he's been hiding from everyone. Once he/they are 'discovered', out comes the tea set and asks other hg's to join him at his tea party. He would definitely not be a threat to anyone in the house then.
NOT ONE GOOD IDEA IN THIS WHOLE BUNCH, BUT I HAVEN'T THOUGHT OF ONE EITHER.

Help out a HouseGuest!

Give him your best advice: What does Eric need to do to win?
  1. Scheme, plot, hook up, make allies, make enemies... I'll get to all of that later on the America's Player poll.
  2. Stay under the radar the first couple of weeks, then really go after the prize by scheming, plotting, hooking up. But definatley begin to make alliances now.
  3. Alliance with Danelle and Dick...
  4. Amber, Jameka, & Dustin are snakes. DO NOT trust them. They gossip and backstab WAY too much.
  5. You should have ADMITTED you were a liar to the house and made up something like "yes, I have been lying. i am gay" to get the heat off of you.- would use to explain that is why you voted to keep Nick (actually had feelings for him)
In retrospect, this would not have worked.

Showmances (existing or ones you want to see!):
  1. How about Dustin that would shake up the house?
  2. Forget the boy boy stuff - have him hook up with a female house hottie - totally unexpected!

Got other info, details, gossip, and speculation?
  1. Why are people confusing Eric and Evil? Are they not looking at the pictures?
  2. Is he friends with chilltown? Just wondering.....
  3. So i am watching after dark..i get the vibe that he doesn't like jen and maybe has a thing for jessica. ...in jessica and him would make a good match in the house
--turns out this was True.

Chena3 Great Game, Eric! 0 Sep 15 2007, 4:37 PM EDT by Chena3

So, you made a couple of strategic mistakes. . . even the F2 made mistakes. Your success, despite being the AP, was just amazing to watch and made the game so much more interesting than it would have been this year. I've watched every single season, and you and Will are my all-time favorite players. It would have been fun to watch you win the game if not for the AP contract, but then we wouldn't have seen you at all. Best of everything in the future!

basketballjones55 ERIC :LET me start playing 0 Sep 14 2007, 10:09 AM EDT by basketballjones55

OH I think he did just fine, he played a great snake in the grass. But he also played possum and let other's take the blame when it suited him. He manipulated people, was in practically every decision. Now I said this before concerning HOH , that CBS didn't want Eric to win only if he was about to get ousted then he could go for the HOH. It always seemed he threw the challenges. It was better for him not to be HOH because that way he can pursue his A.P . tasks, it way more fun waching ERIC trying to get his task complete, then if someone comes off the block,ERIC has to get that new task complete. As AMERICA'S PLAYER, We vote to see what the outcome will be ,to see if ERIC did our will. !! However if ERIC was to become HOH (maybe more than once ) then when we vote, it's not the same .Where is the challenge he just nominate the house guest. I think that's when ERIC is wheeling and dealing scheming.,is way better HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSS '''''''''''''

I used to like Eric but even his slagging of Zach in the jury house is a joke. How can Eric judge anybody elses game when he played so poorly himself!
