Big Brother: Week 6This is a featured page

HOUSE OVERVIEW: Week 6 Thursday, Aug. 9th ~ HOH (Jessica)
Sunday, August 12th ~ Nomination Ceremony (Daniele and Dick)
Tuesday, August 14th ~ POV (Dick) - (Dustin and Dick)
Thursday, August 16th ~ Eviction (Dustin)
Alliances forming:
-Dustin, Eric, Jameka, and Jessica as a major alliance (seemingly Amber belongs too?)
against...
-Dick and Daniele (seemingly Zach and Jen are their friends too)...

Potential double-crosser:
-Amber, like she does every week...

-Possibly Jen on the deal she made with Daniele and Dick...

-Probably Eric, because of America's will, in voting out Dustin...

Sleeping arrangements:

Showmances developing:

-Eric's and Jessica's continues to grow.

- Zach has a date with Jessica.
Funniest moments:
-Jessica and Eric's reaction after Jessica captures HoH... Jessica jumping up and down trying to cover herself//Eric grabbing her harder than a clamp...

-Jameka and Amber in a battle of words in the kitchen with Dick...

-Amber telling Jameka to shut up when Daniele was talking.

Best quotes:
-Dustin: "My arrogance has shown through since I won HoH."

-Dick to Zach: "Jameka called my mom a bitch and she is an ordained minister."

-Amber: "Grab that red blanket, I don't want Jen laying on it, she stinks."

-Jameka to Daniele when she was being a little baby trying to get in with everyone: "I think you do it when it's convenient for you."

Most annoying housemates:
-Dick and how he seemingly continues to run his mouth even when he's been played and is now screwed.

-Jameka and the way she preaches but then goes and says things like Dick is the devil. She said to Daniele, "I thought you were a good Christian," (or something like that).

-Amber because of everything.

Biggest lie:
-That Jameka is a liar according to Dick...

-Eric saying that he is sick.

-Jen planting doubt in Jessica's mind about Dustin having a deal with Dick...

HoH COMPETITION

Details of the competition: This week's competition, the most important to date as the houseguests start to see a split in the house down the middle, was called Let's Make A Deul and it caused quite a deul, but not neccesairily one inside of the HoH competition. Here's how the game went: Two houseguests faced off against each other. They had to answer questions about things their past houseguests (Kail, Nick, Mike, Joe, Carol, [or none of the above]) said throughout the game in the Diary Room. The first person to buzz in and correctly answer would knock the houseguest they were facing off out of the competition. If a houseguest buzzed in and answered incorrectly, they were eliminated and the person they were facing off stayed in. If neither houseguest buzzed in, they were both to be eliminated. The last person standing at the end of each face off picked the next two people to go at it for the next question. The last person officially standing at the end of the game would win the most important position in the house, HoH. Jameka, who gave up her right for 5 HoH's sat out for her first time, and Daniele, as outgoing HoH, did not compete either. And here's how it went down:

Daniele, as outgoing HoH, picked the first two houseguests to face off: Eric and Dustin.
#1 - Which evicted houseguest confessed, "There was a situation brewing and I added some pepper and some salt." // Eric buzzes in, answers correctly with Joe, and Dustin is eliminated.

Eric chooses Dick and Zach as the next two houseguests.
#2 - Which evicted houseguest stated, "I was hoping that the other houseguests would all see that I was going to be an honest player. Mission accomplished." // Zach buzzes in, answers incorrectly with Carol (the answer was Mike), and he is eliminated.

Dick chooses Eric and Jessica for the next deul.
#3 - Which evicted houseguest revealed, "One of my main strategies coming into this house with the females was that I was going to flirt with them." // Eric buzzes in, Julie calls Eric Nick (which was the answer), and both stay in the game and move on to the next question, after Julie's so sincere apology.
#4 - Which evicted houseguest said, "I did not want to tell them I was a multi-business owner." // Jessica buzzes in, answers correctly with Kail, and Eric is eliminated.

Jessica chooses Jen and Dick as the competition comes to a close.
#5 - Which evicted houseguest admitted ,"The beds are about five foot five and I was thinking it would hinder my chances if I was looking to invite a girl back to my bed." // Dick buzzes in, answers incorrectly with Mike, and he is eliminated.

Even though Julie, who seemed to be having problems in this competition, asked Jen to pick the next two houseguests, only Amber and Jessica were left to be picked.
#6 - Which evicted houseguest stated, "I'm not one of those weepy, sad rainclouds that sits around and drags everyone down." // Amber buzzes in, answers incorrectly with Carol, and she is eliminated.

Jen steps up to face off against Jessica for the last round of this competition.
#7 - Which evicted houseguest said, "I gave up way too much..." // Jessica buzzes in immediately knowing it was her ex-bestfriend, answers correctly with Carol, and she wins the title!

New HoH: Jessica grabs the power!

Houseguest's reaction: Dick was mad that the LNC didn't hold up to their end of bargain voting Eric out... The newly formed alliance of Jameka, Eric, Jessica, and Dustin seemed ecstatic. I've never seen Eric happier and Jessica was so happy she had to keep pulling her shirt up, as Eric squeezed the hell out of her. Of course, Dick and Daniele were furious, not only about the HoH but the vote as well. Zach and Jen seemed itchy, but probably hoping Dick and Daniele are the bigger targets. And Amber was just kind of there, not really showing emotion either way.

NOMINATIONS

Theories on who will be nominated: I think it's basically a take your pick out of Dick, Daniele, Zach, and Jen... Probably a big emphasis on Dick and Daniele because of their actions last week when Daniele took over the HoH position.

Who's on the block: Daniele and Dick were put up.

Nominee's Reaction: They obviously expected it but were hoping only one of them would be put up so they had the chance to save themselves (both).

Houseguest's Reaction: It was basically what was expected, especially how Dustin played off being the last one to pull his key out.

    VETO COMPETITION

Details of the competition: This week's competition, consisting of the players - Zach, Jameka, Jessica, Daniele, Dustin, and Dick - and hosted by Eric, was called Shot For Shot. It consisted of two parts.

PART I - The First Shots
Each houseguest was isolated in the house and one by one, each went out to the backyard to take shots of drinks that were made for them. These weren't just normal drinks though, ranging from maple syrup to pickle juice to hotdog and relish mixed to Big Brother blood. 10 shots total could be taken. For each shot that the houseguest successfully completed, they would get one shot in the croquette competition that was part II.

PART II - The Second Shots
Pending how many shots the houseguests took determined how many shots of the ball they got with the croquette stick. Wickets were set up and the houseguest had to hit the ball through each wicket. Each wicket they hit it through, four possible, gained them one point and if they hit the pole at the end outside of the fourth wicket it was another point. The shot totals were revealed and the competition was close.

Zach took 3 shots and his three shots of croquette gained him a low score of 6 points.

Jameka took 4 shots and her four shots of the ball gained her the lead with 10 points.

Jessica took only 5 shots. Her croqueting got her 17 points.

Daniele was next with 7 shots, gaining her 20 points after playing the second part.

Dustin took all 10 shots and took a major lead after he was done, wrapping up with 32 points.

Dick also took 10 shots. It came down to his last shot. He had 28 points and he needed to go through all 4 wickets to tie; to win, he needed to go through all 4 wickets and hit the pole. In a very concentrated hit, Dick succeeded in the latter goal and won with 33 points.

Who wins Power of Veto: Dick wins it.

Who they save: He saves his daughter, in a last minute attempt to make himself look classy.

Who replaces the veto: Dustin goes up in her place.

Housemate reaction: Everyone basically was thinking he would probably use it; no one brought his act though. Jessica was hoping things would go differently but she didn't get her way.

    ELIMINATION & EVICTION

Theories on Who's Going: Both are up and should be very cautious because with America wanting Dustin out, America could get what they want. If Jen and Zach collectively vote out Dustin, he is gone... As long as one of them or America by any chance comes to their senses and votes out Dick, then Dustin will stay.

Who's out: Dustin leaves with a 4-2 vote.

Parting words?: He looked very shocked to even say anything to anyone but Jameka and Amber. He was definitely pissed and only gave any goodbyes to Jameka and Amber.

How will this affect alliances?: This has affected the alliances the most over any other eviction. It now splits the house into seemingly four groups -- Jen and Zach who go with the flow depending on who's in power//Amber and Jameka who are probably the main targets in the house//Eric and Jessica who will be viewed as the shady two and will probably team up with Daniele and Dick, the other group.

Dick continues his tirade and annoying the entire house and getting them to hate him more. I guess according to his "plan", it's working for everyone to hate him. But will it get him evicted? We'll have to wait and see.

Meanwhile, players are picked for the PoV Competition. Competing with Jessica, Daniele and Dick are Jameka, Dustin and Zach with Eric as host. To the dismay of many, Dick won PoV which makes people feel uneasy. But then completely fed up, Daniele faces the whole house about their behavior towards them which just makes her fed up with Jameka.

At the PoV Ceremony, Dick uses the PoV on Daniele and Jessica puts Dustin up as a pawn. But will it really go that way, will Dick indeed leave or will Dustin? We'll have to watch to see, see you next episode!

Jessica as the new HoH definitely isn't sitting right with Dick as he all ready begins a tirade with mostly Jameka attacking her religious beliefs. I don't know about anybody else, but I think all of these religious remarks are just uncalled for.

Eric get his next America's Player task to nominate Dustin. That will definitely be a tall order for him to accomplish but he tries his best. But in the end, Jessica nominates Dick and Daniele for obvious reasons. So will the PoV change things? We'll find out shortly, see you next episode!

Something like religion should not even be a factor into these arguments, it's something that hits way too close to home for most.

Dick should stay because he makes the show what it is. He is the best player that has ever been on this show. They should be smart and vote Dustin out!!!
