Let's talk Big Brother twists, season by season:
Which were the best? Which flopped (in your opinion)? Record not only the details of each season's twist, but talk about which ones were your favorites.| Season | The Twist | Your Commentary |
| 9 | Til Death Do You Part | The Houseguests were paired off into couples. For half of the season they competed as couples, won HOH as couples, was nominated as couples and were evicted as couples. Jen & Ryan were a real live couple from before the show and were NOT paired together. They "planned" to keep it a secret. The HouseGuests had to decide to bring back James or an evicted HouseGuest that was in the "mystery box." James returned to the game and immediately won HOH. |
| 8 | Living with Your Worst Enemy | Six Houseguests have to live with someone from their past that they didn't get along with that they would never see again. This is also the first season with an "America's player". This houseguest gets taks that America has voted on to complete. After completing 5 tasks they receive $10,000. |
| 7 | All Stars | Fourteen former favorite houseguests from past seasons came to live in the Big Brother house and have another chance to win the game. Eight were voted in by fans and the other six were brought back by producers of Big Brother. In the first week, two houseguests were co-HoH's. TheHeads-of-Household had to agree on two people to nominate for eviction. If the HoH's couldn't agree on the nominees they would become the two nominees. |
| 6 | Secret Partners | Each houseguest was paired up with somebody they knew from their normal everyday lives. Each pair thought they were the only houseguests paired up. If a pair made it to the final 2, they would be awarded $1 Million. Unfortunately, all of the houseguests had figured it all out before it was officially announced. For the first time ever, America was allowed to vote an evicted houseguest back into the game. Unfortunately, this houseguest (Kaysar) was voted back out by the other houseguests immediately. |
| 5 | Project DNA | Two Half-Siblings(Cowboy & Nakomis) were brought together for the first time, formerly unaware of each other's existence. Two of the houseguests were twins (Adria & Natalie) playing the game as one person. Adria was the first to move into the house, but every 3 days, the twins would switch places. They did this for four weeks until the the Twin Twist was revealed to the rest of the houseguests. For the first time, only six houseguests were allowed to compete in the Veto competition, rather than everyone. The Head of Household and the Nominees were able to compete and each of them could choose one other houseguest to compete. |
| 4 | The X-Factor | Most Houseguests had to live with an ex-boyfriend or an ex-girlfriend they had went through a nasty break up with. |
| 3 | Veto | Houseguests had a chance to save one of the nominees from eviction and have immunity by winning the Power of Veto. One previously evicted houseguest was allowed to return to the Big Brother house. |
| 2 | A very different game | The public voting is removed. Every week the house guests compete for the title of Head Of Household, earning the power to put up two nominees, of whom the other houseguests will choose which leaves the house. In turn, the winner is decided by a jury of their peers, rather than America. |
| 1 | The Beginning | Ten people moved into a house with cameras and microphones capturing every move they made and every word that they said. The houseguests voted on whom they wanted to be nominated, casting two votes each. The two highest vote getters would be nominated for eviction, resulting in the possibility of multiple nominees if there were ties in the number of nominations received. Americans then voted out the nominated houseguest they liked least via a phone vote. |

I loved this season because Janelle was kicking butt. I would have to say that this was one of the best seasons in bb history.

One of my favorites was when someone (Jun maybe?) won head of household, went to the diary room, and then left the house to go to an awards show without telling the other houseguests. The anticipation of when the other houseguests would realize that she was gone was awesome. And the Twin twist was good.

i loved this season...of course it was the first season i actually saw but what i really loved was chill town.i wish i could find a way to get a hold of the puppet master!
